Somehow managed to scrape these two images into the short-list for Bird Photographer of the Year 2017. The short-list was announced last night and is available to view on the BPOTY website: http://birdpoty16.picturk.com/pages/shortlist. The winners are not announced until mid-August so I certainly won't be holding my breath!
