A juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker (identified by the red crown) on my peanut feeder this afternoon. Taken with my new Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L IS II USM lens plus Canon Extender EF 1.4x III through the closed kitchen window. Stunning detail says a lot about the lens and the quality of the window glass!
