Recently back from Venice: photogenic even in winter, and no huge crowds of tourists to get in the way! Sunrise images are easy to get without losing too much sleep, and sunset doesn't clash with meal times. Here are gondolas drifting up and down with the swell in St Mark's Basin at dawn, and a B&W conversion of St Mark's Basin at night with San Giorgio Maggiore beyond.
