I chose this image of a Mountain Hare (Lepus timidus) taken on my recent trip to the Scottish Highlands to be the ten thousandth image to be uploaded to my website. Why? Well, Mountain Hares are such confiding, accommodating animals (if you approach them right) and they have given me a huge amount of photographic fun in the last couple of years.
