Glencoe is one of the most famous and spectacular glens in the Scottish Highlands, scene of a massacre on February 13th 1692 when Captain Robert Campbell of Glen Lyon obeyed orders to slaughter all members of the Campbell clan under 70 years of age. Glen Coe is now mostly owned by the National Trust for Scotland.
