Silvereye (Zosterops lateralis lateralis), Okarito, West Coast, South Island, New Zealand
Tauhou in Maori. A self-introduction, first recorded in NZ in 1822. Widespread and abundant through New Zealand. The NZ subspecies is also found in SE Australia and Tasmania.
